I'm growing my mullet this April for Black Dog Institute's Mullets for Mental Health.
1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.
My mullet and funds raised will help us drive real change and fund ground-breaking mental health research. This will put digital services and education into the hands of people who need it the most.

Welcome back everyone , mullets for 2026 Thursday 22nd Jan Hi my name is Ford, 1 am 12 years old and live in the Geelong region. This is my 3rd year doing mullets for mental health. I will be growing my mullet until the end of April, and for the whole month of April my hair will be coloured. The reason I colour my hair for that month is to stand out with the bright colours, because anyone who is struggling, 1 am hoping for them to come over from the dark side to. The bright side of there struggles. Unfortunately the last 8 months I have struggled myself, and there is many others out there also. And there has been many who have lost their battle. I also had someone who was amazing pass from mental health last year. Brad Morris you will never be forgotten, forever #31#. To everyone please check on your family and friends, work colleagues and even the young ones. It ain't week to speak . There is always someone who will listen. And be kind because you only see the outside of a person, you don't ever know what someone has been through or going through, many people will smile and be hurting on the inside. I am 11 years of age , and I am growing my mullet and also went pink for all of April. As I lost my uncle just before Christmas due to mental health. So raising awareness for mental health. My hair is pink , because it is bright and anyone who maybe struggling right now or knows someone going through a difficult times . Remember you are love and I would like to see you get on the bright side and shine. IT'S NOT WEAK TO SPEAK.
